Data Rights and Account Deletion
This page explains your rights over the personal information N4XION AI holds about you and how you can act on them. N4XION AI is operated by N4XION Limited.

Your rights under the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020
N4XION AI operates in the context of New Zealand law. The Privacy Act 2020 and its information privacy principles give you clear rights over the information an organisation holds about you. The two rights you use most often are the right to access your information and the right to correct it. This page also covers exporting your data and deleting your account.
Access your information
You can ask what personal information we hold about you and request a copy of it. This covers your account details, such as your email address and the date you joined, along with records tied to your use of the service.
To make a request, email [email protected] from the address linked to your account. We may ask you to confirm your identity before we release anything, which protects your information from being sent to the wrong person.
Correct your information
If any information we hold about you is wrong or out of date, you can ask us to correct it. Tell us what is incorrect and what the right details are. If we cannot agree that a correction is needed, you can ask us to attach a note to your record showing that you requested a change.
Export your data
You can request an export of the data associated with your account. We provide it in a common, machine readable format so you can keep your own copy. If you want a specific part of your data rather than everything, say so in your request and we will focus on that.
Delete your account
You can ask us to delete your account at any time. Access to N4XION AI is free and invite only, so leaving carries no charge and closes no paid plan.
The deletion workflow runs in these steps:
- You send a deletion request by email to [email protected] from the address on your account.
- We confirm the request with you before we act, so an accidental or unauthorised message does not remove your account.
- Once you confirm, we remove your account and process the deletion of the data tied to it.
- We tell you when the deletion is complete.
What we remove
Deletion removes your account record and the personal information linked to it, including your login identity and the content and history tied to your use of the assistant. After deletion you can no longer sign in, and your invite is spent.
What we retain and why
We may keep a limited amount of information for a short period after deletion. We do this only where there is a clear reason:
- Security records, such as abuse or fraud signals and certain audit logs, which help us protect the service and other users.
- Information we are required to keep to meet a legal or record keeping obligation.
- Backup copies that age out on their normal cycle, after which they are overwritten.
We keep this information only for as long as the reason applies, and then we remove it. We do not keep it to reactivate your account or to market to you.
